How it works for chefs
The short version of our policies and how money moves. The full Terms of Service apply.
Your listing
- Apply or accept an invitation, then build your profile, photos, and availability in your dashboard.
- Connect payouts through Stripe, then submit your listing for approval.
- We review every listing before it goes live, and we can hide a listing that breaks our policies.
- Your profile must be accurate, and your photos must be yours to share.
Bookings
- Guests can only request dates that are open on your calendar. Block dates by hand or connect your calendar.
- You accept a request with your price, or decline it.
- The guest pays a deposit to confirm the booking. The balance is charged automatically to their card before the event, so you never chase payment.
- Talk with guests through site messages. Contact details are shared automatically once the booking is paid.

- Guests you already worked with before the introduction are not covered.
Reviews
- Only guests who booked and paid through the site can review you.
- You can post one public response to each review.
- Reviews are removed only for a listed reason, such as personal information or abuse, never for being negative.
- You can also show your Google reviews by connecting your Google Business Profile.
Your responsibilities
- Your own licenses, permits, insurance, food safety, staff, and taxes.
- Asking guests about allergies and preparing food safely.
